Finsia’s “Addressing the Gender Divide leadership” Sydney luncheon – special offer for Sphinxx blog readers

Tuesday, June 15, 2010

Finsia (Financial Services Institute of Australasia) is running a business networking lunch in Sydney on Wednesday the 28th of July (12-2pm). Gender diversity is an issue especially pronounced in the financial services sector, and I’m really excited that Finsia is paying serious attention to how we overcome these issues. They have a great line up of speakers ready to discuss the issues facing the Australian business and finance industry and highlight key initiatives on gender diversity.

Speakers include:

The Hon Tanya Plibersek MP, Minister for the Status of Women (TBC)
John W.H. Denton, Partner & Chief Executive Officer, Corrs Chambers Westgarth
Tanya Gilerman, COO Audit, Partner – Financial Services, KPMG
Luise Elsing, General Manager - Executive Office, ASX Markets Supervision
Eva Freedman, Head of Human Resources, HSBC Bank and member of the Finsia Women in Leadership Advisory Council.
Moderator: Catherine Fox, Deputy Editor, AFR BOSS Magazine

And if you’re a sphinxx blog reader, you can write the promotional code GDSPX on the Addressing the Gender Divide registration form and you’ll save 10% on your registration fee!
